Yahweh vs the Trinity

god understood as trinity is necessarily only good

30 December, 2007

The Trinity is an understanding of God rooted in the primitive Church's experience of the Kingdom

The character of Yahweh is detailed in the Old Testament., and can only be defined as good if 'good' does not have the meaning ordinarily attributed to it.

Coinherent love is  the eternal nature  of the Trinity, Father Son and Holy Spirit mutually giving and receiving  eachother in fullness.  Holding nothing back from the other.

If  God  were Yahweh, this all would include his wrath, jealousy, etc, or he would be 'holding back' and not qualitatively eternal.

Jesus came to bring the Knowledge of the Father to those who only knew Yahweh.
